I was bored and killing time last week so I caught up on this. It's complete melodrama like Yeller mentioned. Everyone has a secret agenda and knows karaté.
The parts with Oliver on the island are fun. Laurel is the worst of damsel writing I've ever seen. Everything is solved by a genius a-ha tech or medical cute Deus Ex M solution.
Anyway it's guilty pleasure material.
