Being dead I'm sure they know that the medufuckits are just attracted to the force and not the cause of it. They are closer to the force now, so they know such things.

What does "advisory and consulting rights" mean? He has no say over any cut or creative decisions. Disney might have asked his opinion on a few things just to be nice but that doesn't mean shit. I vaguely remember him saying they didn't want to go with his ideas for SW7. Thankfully.

Lucas actually did an interview recently where he was asked about his involvement in the new movies and he basically said they tossed his treatments in the garbage and he has no idea what they're doing. He seemed kinda butthurt about it, lol.

I realize that little article Dolemite posted was on some fluff movie site, but, I felt legitimate sympathy for Lucas reading it. Not in any personal way, of course, but, in a sorta profound sense. I imagine that moment when you finally pack it in, and accept that you just don't have the ability to execute your own idea. Even with millions of dollars and state-of-the art everything, that no one is interested in your vision of your own creation.

I mean, if something I made was ever even proportionately as successful, I sure I could console myself with the windfall and move on to other things. But the notion that that fans sigh in relief discovering my name is not attached...oof, hard not to be bitter.
