Casinos kinda suck. I never got the appeal.
Can you let me know if it ever talks about Steve Job's feelings on Casinos? I guess his Dad had a Casino, but my boss and I were talking about how Bill Gates said he's only ever spent $5 in those places and hates them. I feel like Job's wouldn't be a fan either, but I feel like Tim Cook would.

That's because you have money.
I personally hate them myself.
I remember one incident in a casino that is part of what made me hate them. When I was around 12, my parents took me and my siblings to Atlantic City because we've never been. They wanted to take us to the boardwalk and such. Before that, though, they wanted to go into the casino floor to play the slots. Anyone under I think 18 wasn't allowed on the floor where the machines were located. Instead of just skipping the slots, my parents told us to sit in the lobby and they'll be back in about 20 minutes. Three hours later they finally came back.
I understand wanting to have fun as a parent, but leaving your kids there in a lobby in a strange and unfamiliar city was one of the shittiest things my parents ever did. I may have gone to a casino once after that but I've never had the want to go back. That and the false promise of easy money is a weakness I lost as a kid. Unless I can control the odds of my coming out on top I normally do not take the risk.
I like to sit at the penny slots with my girlfriend and get free drinks. Way cheaper than the bar and you get to play a dumb game of luck while hanging out. Also great for people watching.
My grandparents lived in Vegas. I've been to that shithole of a city SO MANY TIMES. Casinos are stupid, I wish we weren't getting one in Baltimore.
I'm pretty poor and i hate casinos. They're awful places.
Donk
So a TNL Vegas 2013 meetup then?
