TNL Holiday Wish Lists 2012 - You CAN Take It with You

We've got people worried about December 21 and the possible end of life as we know it. We've got others fretting over the "fiscal cliff" coming up in January. Whether you perish in a cosmic cataclysm or lose most of your money in a financial collapse, you can be sure that your cash ain't going to be worth much. So what can you do? You, my friends, must tend to your soul! If I may make some suggestions toward that end:

1. Bring joy to yourself
2. Bring joy to others
3. Help your favorite forum survive for another year

Yes, your money may fail you in the coming weeks, but you can use it right now to make the world - and particularly the Web - a far better place. Make it rain on your fellow TNLers and let's all hit the coming wall with a deluge of good will, games, books, music, stuff. Let's make the world the way we want it to be, even if it is only for a short time.

Use the link in this sentence or the search box on the right side of the main forum page to visit Amazon.com and start putting together your wish list. Your best bet is to put in a lot of items in the $10 or $15 range as well as some that are more/less expensive (send the link to your family and they can buy you the priciest items). The best way to come up with ideas might be to see what everyone else is wishing for, so check back here often as more and more lists are posted, so you can browse through, pick up some ideas, and maybe exchange some gifts with the people you Internet-love. I'll copy all of the lists into this first post for the sake of convenience.

Even if you can't participate on the buying end, post your list and let the rest of us do something nice for you. You'll be helping TNL at the same time.

The same thing occurred to me a couple months ago but I can't even remember who I sent gifts to (and I know I didn't get to everyone I wanted). Even if I looked up a purchase history I don't know everyone's real name and still be confused.
