Just in case someone wants to build one of these after me
I'm in need of a new computer and I think I'm going to aim for a dual booting (maybe even triple) Hackintosh setup so I can stay familiar with app development.
What I've gathered so far is that Gigabyte or ASUS boards are best. AMD Radeon 6600 and 6800 series cards are pretty good to use as well as Intel CPU no older than 2010.
I'm thinking about a GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard or this GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H
and a GIGABYTE Ultra Durable VGA Series GV-R685OC-1GD Radeon HD 6850 for the graphics card.
It seems like many gamers are happy with that card and it is also compatible with the newest OSx
Has anyone else attempted this? Thoughts?

Frankensteined one a couple years ago from spare parts. It was a PITA and took weeks to get running reliably.
Be smart. Follow the build guides and don't sub anything not listed. There are lots more tools and info around now to make it real easy.
I'm planning to put another together someday.
Motherboard, Graphics card and memory came in the mail today from Newegg. Paid standard 7 day shipping and got it in 2 days Sometimes it is nice to live close to Memphis.
So far:
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP5 TH
CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 660 Ti Overclocked 3GB
Jokes are supposed to be funny.
I did understand it, and i was going to posta to Josh saying it was intentional. But then i figured he knew that already and didn't care.
Still not funny.
