Killing Joke is one of those bands I always meant to listen to more of, but never did. What's your favorite album?
It's tough to pin down a favorite with them, since their style has varied pretty dramatically through the years. They started off as post-punk with early industrial overtones, then became more experimental, then tried their hand at pop, then decided to fully embrace industrial, then put out a handful of heavier albums, and now seem to be dabbling in all of the above. Fire Dances is probably my overall favorite, since it's sort of a bridge between my two favorite periods in their career (the experimental and pop stuff) and has elements of both. The 1980 s/t and Night Time also get a lot of play. The latter is one of their more accessible records and would be a good place to start.
