There's so much text from NPCs but there are so many gems (pet quest spoiler) like the adventures of the cat that climbs to impossible heights in NLA and later wanders around Mira and text blatantly referring to the localization (one character wanted to use Jp names for everything but they have to think about their intended audience) and



I feel like 90% of the game is optional and if you're only advancing through the stories you're missing what the game is actually about. Chasing Mia around Mira is the best and you're going to miss her unless you're pretty thorough.

Recently did a quest for Julius where we surprisingly discovered the Orphe, another new xenoform species (consisting of only 5 remaining individuals apparently) and a new arms manufacturer that is rebelling against the Ganglion. Crazy.

Just got back to playing this game, after a few weeks detour because of the holidays, and holy shit is this game humongous. I'm 12 hours in now, and I just BARELY got out of the first area of the game.....and I've only explored 15% of that first area. How is that humanly possible!? I'm loving this game, but I still say I enjoy the pacing and story line of the first game more.
