I agree, and I'm sure as hell not shelling out $500 to play another tired ass Halo game or Dead Rising.

Killer Instinct has always been fucking terrible. Not sure why people are so excited about it now. HAHA, THAT WAS A THING REMEMBER?

  2. Yeah Prince, I agree that 500 dollars is the "sweet spot" for new consumer electronics, at least if you were to ask a marketing exec. Except that an iPad doesn't come with an additional barrier of needing to buy a retail price game, controllers, online membership, etc. You're looking at more than 600 before you get to enjoy a single game. I understand that there are iPad accessories, but in order to enjoy it for what it is, you pay the 500 and then a dollar for most apps.

Because people are making much more money today than they were in 2006

I now have a job, and it is still a barrier

600, more so. I could go buy a lot of awesome shit with that

  5. I think the controller is the business though.

IP what job did you get

  6. #256
    Engineer

  7. I really enjoyed KI Gold for N64. That was many moons ago, though.

Yeah, I'm sure you were expecting a new game from Swery and a new game from Superbrothers to be at the Xbox press conference.

  9. So Killer Instinct isn't being made by Rare, it's being made by Double Helix, the folks who made Silent Hill: Homecoming.

Yeah, but $600 got you a fully backwards compatible system (PSOne and PS2) with expandable internal memory that you could rent games for and buy used games for.
