Lee writing early SS with a constant self-narration of tortured philosophical monologues is the best. Unfortunately, that's one of those things that only works in comics and will never, ever really translate properly to a crowd-pleasing action movie.
Also the recent Slott/Allred run was really great.

I'd like for it to be a good movie, but the most important thing that character ever did was make it so Rogue could fly and hit things really hard.

It’ll be a good precursor to time travel and the next wave of Avenger heroes as the old guard hang up their contracts.
I’m looking forward to the Skrulls. One more step to FF and Doom. I’m curious to see how Marvel handles FF after the previous fiascos. They did such a good job w Spidey.
