Putting whether you like comic book movies aside, is this weird to anyone else? People jammed into a theatre, screaming in ecstacy over marketing materials that marketing departments want them to see? The Infinity War teaser notwithstanding, they're cheering for the trademarked logos of intellectual properties on a screen, man. I think Plato wrote a story about this.

They are people who have enjoyed Marvel's film output thus far, and are just looking forward to seeing that cinematic universe expanded further and more characters that they like being brought to life.
