anybody that thought shield was getting cancelled, regardless of the uptick in quality, is a god damn moron since both abc and marvel are owned by disney and there's no real reason to back out on their grand plans for the marvel media empire

Finale was a bit underwhelming. Though there were some cool bits. Just felt a bit too comical actually.
Maybe they wanted people laughing with them instead of at them, for once.

That was the most Whedon-esque sequence the show has done so far and it was excellent.
