Thread: Which are you buying?

  1. Both, but want a GeForce GTX 690 more.

    2013 Completion (2): PC (1), 360 (1)

  2. Playstation 4, but not at launch. I'll see how its first year is before I'm in.

And make the XBO's 24-hour check in HOURLY if you play your game at a friend's house.
The money I'd have reserved for an Xbox One is going for the Vita and a few games.

Sony wins. Flawless Victory, FATALITY. I may consider an Xbox One later... when it's in a bargain bin for $39.99 after it tanks two years in and PS4 is still going strong.

As for videocards, I think I'll wait for the GTX 880. TBQH, the 580 is good enough for me for another year or two.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  3. I'll be snagging a PS4 a year or two down the line. Going to pass on the Xbone entirely, and I'm actually considering getting rid of my 360 as well. Since getting the PS3 at Christmas and then beefing up my PC I haven't touched it. There's nothing in the future I'm looking forward to and paying money for Gold when PS+ and Steam exist is a waste.

If I buy any new systems in the near future, it'll most likely be a 3DS.

  4. I'm between Nothing for now (and keep building the PC), or a PS4. Holy shit, I've turned into Yoshi.

  5. PC, PS4, Wii U generation for me.

  6. I wasn't going to buy either one but now I'm getting a PS4 day one as a vote cast with my wallet.

  7. I think I'm going with Books. Books has been losing exclusives to Movies and, like Vita, is having difficulty competing for shelf space, but I still think it has enough features and third party support to hang with these new systems. No DRM, used titles can be freely exchanged, no Always Online, and minimal power consumption. There's a place down the street that offers a service where members have access to extended rentals of a small selection of older titles kind of like PS Plus, though its ratio of disenfranchised weirdos and racists to normal folk is probably a little closer to XB Gold's.

Woah woah woah, lets not get crazy here.

If it comes out that they listened to the whiners and got rid of the time restraints and consequential checkpointing, though, it can DIAF.
Dead Rising 3 isn’t designed to be the laugh riot of the older Dead Risings. The Xbox One exclusive from Capcom Vancouver is a grittier kind of zombie game.
