Hm, it just says anyone plat with a 3ds registered, and receives emails will get the demo email. Doesn't seem random? I'm pretty sure I get emails from Nintendo, would be pretty cool to get.

Points also expire, so if you were platinum a month ago you might not be now. /thisguy

Is it based on being Platinum for this year or last year. Also your points expiring doesn't change your status. It just resets automatically at the end of June every year.
I'd imagine it would be last year, right? I mean I know some people hoard, but that's a bit crazy.
Niiiiiiice. As I was looking to see if I had notifications turned on, I got an email from Nintendo. I assume a lot of people on here will have codes too.
edit: yes, it said people who got plat last year (ending June 2014).
I took the train today too, but I brought my STUPID Vita instead of my 3ds. I hate you Vita! Why did you do this to me
