Looks like we can consider the ESRB leak confirmed.
(If it gets taken down: that's a playlist of videos showing Shulk and Bowser Jr. in action, which some of the screenshots in the leak appear to be lifted from. The bad news: they also show Ganondorf, and he's still Falcondorf.)

I hope this means the DLC rumors are also true. Considering the sheer amount of content in this game, this is one of few cases where a Japanese developer can say "we budgeted DLC due to scope" and I reply "yeah, that makes sense."
Musuo and Tales games don't get this assumption.

The DLC list with Snake was debunked like right away. It was somebody else claiming to be the ESRB leaker and lying.
but how do you know gaining 10 levels for $5 isn't a budget issue. it's hard to plan for that

Good News: Nintendo caught that leaker. Looks like he was the guy making footage to give for the ESRB to rate. They're gonna sue the pants off him.
Good News: I guess that roster is legit. I'm happy with it!
Bad News: Kinda sad the element of surprise is gone.
