  6. This was pretty heavy, man.

    Like everything Cormac McCarthy has ever written, it's a meditation on fatalism with a distinctly American rebirth-through-violence theme. But there's something else going on here. I'm not sure what. It has preoccupations with the primal/animalistic cycles of killing, eating, pooping, and fucking, all guiltlessly. When a person capable of guilt is brought into the killeatpoopfuck cycle, things are broken. I need to see it again. And soon.

    Also, Cameron Diaz is really bad at her job.
