I dig it.
Do you have specific roles for each of your monitors?
Like for instance, my third monitor is jimmy-rigged using USB and has a terrible refresh rate, so I mainly use it for static text and Winamp. The other two are kind of a tossup.
Same here. Any system or game I need to test usually happens on that monitor. And it's the only thing I'll play my NES/Famicom games on.

Third monitor is just for when I feel like using it, it was my old main monitor before I bought the two 24" ViewSonic LEDs. It's connected to my PC via a USB 3.0 to HDMI converter, which works flawlessly for me. I've got an HDMI switchbox hooked up so when I turn on the power to my 360 it switches over automatically. But I only really bring it up to this room when I feel like taking CoD seriously, I do a lot better on a smaller monitor. The 1702 works great as a stand for the 360 to sit on.

Before I got my current desk I was using a piece of plywood balanced across two floor model speakers. In related low-rent bullshit I am still using a metal folding chair. Sore ass, but it keeps me off the computer for too long.
Get one you can adjust between sitting and standing. Otherwise Old Man Knees will smite you.

An hour sitting and an hour standing and repeat. Best way I've found to shuffle pain between the knees and the back.
We all walk it eventually.
NextDesk sells a motorized one in a size that can work in my room. It's expensive but HMMM
I paid around $900 for mine. Insane, but I don't even care.
