So, I went back to newgrounds for the first time in years. Found this game.

Lakeview Cabin - surprisingly good mystery game with some humor. Downsides are the short length and necessity of trial and error. Upsides are the 8bit graphic design and the scares and story are all good.

No replies? This was a fun game. You should really take a couple minutes to check it out.

I played a couple dozen more games on Newgrounds from this year. Nothing else really stuck out.

Don't Escape is a point and click, but it has a fun concept. It would be a ton of fun if there were more levels dependent on your score from Level 1.

Daymare Cat has some really nice sight and sound design. Unfortunately, it's too short.

Double Hitler - The Fuhrer was really two kids stacked on one another. One of those annoying game-play concepts, but the art is good and the story is entertaining enough to keep you playing.

Perdition - Creepy sci-fi horror platformer with a girl running around a wasteland

This guy, Scriptwelder, had made some other games.

400 Years - is a neat test of time game. I really like the concept and I would like to see other games with this mechanic, if anyone knows one.

Then his biggest game, a point-click horror adventure into the dream world with great sound is in three parts
