God, that moment in the first season when they're at the conventions and Madarame breaks his hand, but keeps pushing on, then bumps into that dude. Hahaha... oh man, Genshiken is comedy gold anime.

It's probably from an Echi show which is basically softcore porn (whereas Hentai would be more hardcore porn). From what I understand, but I honestly don't think I've seen any Hentai. I've definitely watched a few Echi shows in the past few years. Many are hilarious, and often have heartwarming moments that justify their existence beyond titillation. I don't think I've seen any with anything as gratuitous as that Popsicle scene. Regardless, watching softcore porn, then crying about the sexual content is gay.

These types of scenes are not in every "normal" anime as Cheeks would love to suggest. I'm watching ten shows this season, and only Bakemonogatari Second Season contains risque content approaching anything from that roll of clips (and indeed the toothbrush stuff is from Nisemonogatari).
