Didn't end up going to Amoeba, but I was by the Rasputin in Union Square. Wandered in and found the only record I was interested in this drop - The Rough Guide to Voodoo. I am really happy I avoided the craziness of Amoeba, and ended up scoring exactly what i wanted!
Realllllly tired of the repress game. Rereleasing MGMT's albums? Please. A lot of this re-released stuff is absolute crap and will sit on the shelves indefinitely.
