I'm not all "boo hoo for Record Collector Guy" I'm more "boo hoo because the thing about RSD that was cool is gone" Majors stepped in with mostly bullshit releases at high price/low run, the flippers smelled blood in the water, and here we are. It wasn't like this 4 years ago. It's moving away from what it was (a way for stores to get people in the door and make some money, and indies to put out new releases) and turning into something stupid.
It bums me out, that's all.
Yeah, pretty sure it was started to get people in record stores again.
Which worked on me. I had never been to the new place in Tupelo and I walked out with 100 in nonrsd stuff
