Amiibos are far worse than DLC. With DLC I don't have to clutter everything up

Except this is, hypothetically, DLC that keeps giving. You get an actual toy thing that would look good on a desk (if you're that kind of person), and you pay one price to get DLC spanning at least a handful of games now, maybe more later?

DLC/Hooks can be made that way without cheap toys.

Plus, Nintendo doesn't roll like that. They have a billion accessories that they kill off after using them for one thing. I don't trust them here.

Hero, you have to turn the online settings on yourself. I think you can do it from any of the settings menus.

You'll see random, sweaty Links appear randomly on your map. Their level determines the difficulty of the stage. As far as I've seen the only prizes they give out are gold level mats and high rank level 3 weapons for whoever has them unlocked.

Okay good point on Nintendo's abandonment rates. Between Amiibo and e-Reader though, I'll at least have a nifty toy on my desk if Amiibo support is dropped.
