I wouldn't worry about it, Terminator 3 already happened. There's nothing left to ruin here.

The Elton John glasses joke was the Alien Resurrection brain gag of T3. Ruins the whole thing around it.
I'd watch Arnold in a guitar wolf movie.
I guess it could be worse. They could have made an terminator vs robocop movie and fucked it up as the AvP movies.

I start to see things I recognize. It’s being very respectful of first two films. Then all of the sudden, it just swerves. And now I’m going on a journey. I feel like the franchise has been reinvigorated, like this is a renaissance.
