    You just answered your own question. KQIII is probably the best of the bunch with VI being an honorable mention. The rest are pretty crap.

    I'll take the Colonel's Bequest over any KQ game.

    I can't imagine how someone who has played Phantasmagoria doesn't hate her, even if it's just a little.

    This is the only Roberta Williams game I played all the way through.

  4. Those games have a special place in my heart, but it took a while for me to acknowledge the superiority of Lucas Arts point and click games.

  5. KQ pretty much pioneered the third person graphic adventure. They're not all great games by modern standards but they were definitely up there by standards of the day. Admittedly, I liked Space Quest better, though.

    It did seem like KQ was pretty much the last big adventure franchise that wasn't coming back as a sequel, reboot, or spiritual successor. With so much happening lately, its absence stood out.
