Activision announces new King's Quest, developed by The Odd Gentlemen

Precious few details at the moment, but it seems there's going to be a new King's Quest from the devs behind P.B. Winterbottom. It doesn't seem like Roberta Williams is involved, but Ken issued a statement. This is apparently a part of Activision's effort to bring back the Sierra brand for digital fake-indie games.

They were showing off PC Geometry Wars at PAX East. It was playable with mouse and keyboard. Never play Geometry Wars with mouse and keyboard.

No, Roberta's alive and well, sleeping on top of the mountains of money she got when they were forced to sell the company, and sailing around the world in a $10,000,000 yacht. She is quite retired from game development for a long time, though.

I can't imagine why anyone who enjoys King's Quest would dislike her. She pretty much is King's Quest.

King's Quest has to be the most overrated adventure game series of all time (VI is decent). Roberta Williams is an awful, awful hack.

New Geometry Wars is neat, though.
