I'm white, but poor, urban white and I often feel uncomfortable around cops. Not so much because I fear violence as much as general harassment or bogus tickets, and I haven't often found them terribly helpful when I've needed them.
But none of that really factors into my assessment of the case. I believe much of the officer's story but I feel like he used excessive force in responding to the situation. I don't believe he kept coming with 3 bullets in him like Terminator and I don't believe that because it's difficult to believe and doesn't gave much corroboration, not because of my political affiliation or my view of police.

Arnold was just a famous face they slapped on the party to get governor in a ridiculous clown show they engineered. The California Republican Party is really far right. Ever since an independent board set up districts (lessening the effect of gerrymandering) the party holds almost no power in the state because it's so extreme.
