Thread: 2014 NFL Thread of Illegal Contact, Political Correctness, and PEDs cut with Molly

  1. Yeah, that's what worries me, Seattle didn't play anyone good in the last six weeks. Philly can be dynamite or terrible with little in between and they were terrible.

But Wilson leads the league in QB pressure %, which is hard to do with a great run game, so that's on Seattle's OL and playcalling.

There have been some games (particularly this year) where he didn't look very good, but there are others where you think, man if they could pass block (which is way different from run blocking, which is Cable's strength), he'd be really good.

  3. I have a feeling he wouldn't have signed on if Snyder would overrule him. If Snyder somehow runs one of the best evaluators out of town, it will kill the team's rep (hard to imagine it can get any worse than it already is) and no one will want to work for him. Dan may be a meddler, but he's a businessman and a smart one at that. If he has half a brain he will let the football people do the job they were hired to do and McCloughan is the first football man the team's had since Gibbs 2.0. Fuck, that was almost 10 years ago.

  4. Bruce Allen had a good rep before he came to town. He will probably do well in his next job.

    You can't fire the owner.

  5. I'd say Bruce had a lukewarm rep at best and he's staying on as team President. I was never sold on him as a personnel guy. To me, that was a fan hiring the son of a legendary coach to his childhood team.

  6. Not that it's an event most people care about, most dislike it, but I'll be attending the Pro Bowl draft on the 21st. I'm only going for possible photo ops, the draft last year was boring.

I'd go once for the hell of it, especially if they continue their string of quality captains like Deion and Irvin.

  8. Tickets were free and it is at one of the nicest hotels in the city. Also got tickets to the celebrity/NFL legends flag football game on the 29th. Trying to take full advantage of having all these Super Bowl festivities here in Phoenix.

  10. I am prepared to add Baltimore to your upset special list. Seattle is the only favorite who will advance today.
