I was curious also and looked it up. Looks like a 4 week event with different rewards each week, likely to get OW players to try a new patch for HOTS.

Yup. Turns out it's x5 rounds 'with a friend' for the Oni Genji skin, another x5 for D'Va Cop, x5 for a bunch of portrait horseshit, and x5 past that for a bunch of loot crates. You can just friend people in the waiting lobby of the game before a round to make it count.
It doesn't matter what 'week' you start on during the event, but you get the rewards in the order that they're offered.

I do play this dumb game sometimes. Hit me up if you want to watch me try to understand how it works in exchange for bonuses in a game I actually like.
It's an RTS without the building elements pretty much? Weird. The lanes thing feels super forced.

I'm not too keen on some of the skins, but Power Ranger Genji and Cyborg Soldier76 look freaking awesome. I'm really digging that Reinhardt waltz, and the Pharah air guitar as well. Hopefully with all the new dance emotes, someone will get an Elaine Benes dance emote.
