Here's what we know: It's set in a fictitious Mediterranean archipelago, the grappling hook and parachute make a return (with "vastly improved" mechanics), and there's even a new wingsuit.

You'll still play as Rico Rodriguez.

Just Cause 2 went on to sell six million copies across PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, where it had a thriving community that added a multiplayer mod.

The Swedish developer set up a New York studio for Just Cause 2, but the company is also working on a Mad Max game, which is likewise set for release next year. It looked pretty rad when I previewed it at E3 2013..

  2. Everyone else should just not bother releasing videogames next year.

  3. Fuck yes!

I'll definitely give this a shot, I've always wondered about this series.

  5. JC2 is routinely on sale for like a dollar. Get on that.

  6. JC2 was one of the most enjoyable games of last gen. Not kidding. Not without flaws, but true sandbox craziness. And that parasailing traversal....mmm. JC3 is day one.

I was wrong. It's three whole dollars on Steam right now. Shit, I'll buy people copies. Pineapple, tell me your PC isn't a complete waste right now.

I just checked, surprisingly enough my laptop not only meets the required numbers but also the recommended!

  9. I have the PS3 version I am planning to trade in. If anyone wants it - someone who hasn't experienced the wonder of Just Cause 2 - let me know.

  10. I got 2 digital on the 360 when it was on sale for $7.49, money well spent.

The grappling hook mechanic is awesome, it makes it feel like an open world Bionic Commando game.
