I dunno, maybe you don't like how she looks, but I thought Kolin's moveset was interesting. It's definitely more exciting than seeing any number of SF characters, again.

I don't really like rekka characters that much, so I dunno man. Not for me.
But that's the point of fighting games, right? Not everyone is meant to play the same and not everyone is for you, me, or any one person specifically.
Like, I may suck with Kolin, but I can appreciate that they're trying to make someone who looks to play different from the current roster. I can be excited that they're doing that than say, rolling Sakura out for the 20th time. Maybe she won't be my new main, but not everyone in every fighting game is, anyway.
Don't take it to mean anything besides 'me personally', I'm fully aware there are different flavors for different folks. I just don't like cilantro; I don't need that to not be a flavor on my account.

For me it's like two tiers of appreciation - one for stuff I can use, and one for stuff that looks like an honest effort in doing something different/interesting.
I like it when we get characters that are fun to fight against, when there's a tricky metagame introduced through new mechanics that I need to find ways to work around. I don't complain about balance changes (THAT MUCH) because it means the way the game plays needs to be adjusted in little ways. I don't see Kolin as being much different from Karin so far, I'm hoping that won't be the case when she's out.
I'm sure this will be a "new character is SUPER POWERFUL to mash buttons with so people will pick her!" until folks figure her out.

Except those numbers are wrong.
If you bought AE and Ultra as updates, they were $15 and $20.
SFV is still cheaper where you live, I guess, but it's still bad.
Here SFV is $80 and each season is $40, so it's $135 for SF4 vs $160 for SF5.
