I'm pretty interested to see what Double Fine has in store for DoTT: Special Edition. Unlike Grim, that one is going to be more of a total remake, which is dangerous but could pay off if done well.

Tim Schafer is a pro bullshitter
Beat the Adventures of Batman and Robin on the Genesis because some guy who sucks on GAF did it. Hadn't really sat down for serious attempts since some of the stages drag like crazy. Mad Hatter is the hardest boss in the game. Get past him and you're very likely to finish.
I completely respect the fact that spite motivated you.
Probably because Purcell only worked as a writer on one game, while Shafer was lead on three. He was an underutilized talent.
LucasArts had a lot of talent working there back then. It's hard to credit any one person.
In any event, Double Fine's remake is going to be at least partly an extension of the incomplete LucasArts one that was canned when they went under, so it's a pretty big unknown.
