    That's probably why I'm still waiting for the Humble Bundle to check out their works.

    There's something gained by successfully recreating a certain instantly recognizable and nostalgic aesthetic.

    Case in point, I find the original MSX-style version of La Mulana more appealing than the vaguely-retro-but-whatever remake that's on Steam.

    That said, copping the NES style in particular is getting a little played out.
