A lot of those parts with chuck were really, really hard to watch. Both from his standpoint of being terminally afraid of this electricity mental illness menace, paired with Jimmy's eagerness to help out, mixed with just...everything else. It was hitting kinda close to home in parts. Brilliant episode, and screeeeam about the Fring mention.

He was a pretty amazing character in Breaking Bad. They developed him with some sympathetic undertones similar to Walter White. If they end up detailing his rise to power in the next 2-3 seasons I'll be super happy. I assumed that's where they were going with Mike doing recon on Salamanca though.

I've always thought Michael McKean was a great actor, but this might be his best acting yet. I had a really hard time seeing him as a bad guy at first, but dude is a master.

How can you even argue this? Chuck is an asshole but he works within the confines of morality and law while Jimmy subverts it with fraud every chance he gets. It's just that Jimmy's instincts make people love him as a lovable scamp. I dislike Chuck (because fuck him) but he's not nearly as greasy

Very easily. Chuck and his "moral superiority". When shit hit the fan, and Jimmy had to choose between his scam and his family, he chose his family. He chooses Chuck every single time. Anytime Chuck needed him, Jimmy was there, worshipping his older brother, while Chuck could never accept him and went out of his way to make sure he didn't get on at HHM.

Anybody who would choose to save their reputation over their family is a MAJOR piece of shit in my book. Chuck is a con-artist, just like his own brother. The difference is Jimmy accepts who he is. Chuck is holier than thou. 1000 times more greasy.

Work real hard for your entire adult life to build something great. Then ask yourself if you'd be happy to have slipping Jimmy become a part of it.
You must have had a great family. A lot of people dont. Your blanket sentiment doesn't really work in the real world.
