This was the game I've most looked forward to, but looking at video now makes it seem like it's too dialogue cut-scene-y for my taste. That so?

For the Wii U version, it definitely starts that way. I still haven't taken an honest shot at the Wii original. Figured I'd go 'backwards' - starting with the 'wrong' one, then the intended version.

i've been seeing this on my twitter feed all day and when i was at GameStop to buy my Wii U copy SOMEONE ELSE was there getting the 3DS version!

For Wii U purchasers. Was your copy all ghetto shrinkwrapped? I only ordered one copy, and it looks like someone used a hand me down shrinkwrap and hair dryer to seal it.
