Tegra is total shit. Always was always will be.
But John, like I said earlier in this thread and you denied, this is the most logical path for a hybrid handheld console of sorts. Not the dynamic texture resizing shit you were saying.
So after Iwata said they weren't making a hybrid, it looks like they're making a hybrid.

If true, SUPER INSANELY disappointing. At least too me.

He also said they wouldn't make mobile games. Companies often change their minds or just outright lie when keeping stuff under wraps.
I like the idea of only buying one Nintendo system per gen (if that's their plan) and having all of their games there. I have trouble picturing a hybrid selling more than 3DS+Wii U levels, though. They will have fans of non-mobile handhelds and Nintendo diehards but how will they reach beyond those groups?
Yeah but I was saying it shouldn't be a hybrid. That it should be 2 systems with similar but different level of specs. This is just going to end up costing too much for most hand held fans and be too underpowered for console fans. Seriously the hybrid idea is going to see them having even less sales than the Wii U had. This is the worst choice they could have gone with IMHO.
Being right never gets old.
Apparently being wrong never gets old for you.
Speaking for myself, if a Tegra-based handheld gets iOS/Android ports, I'd rather buy a second one of these for my daughter than keep giving her hand-me-down iPhones/iPods. I can't imagine I'm alone, so the key here may be the kids market, which has been eroded by smart devices.

I wonder if they will charge the standard $60 for a Cartridge games that are 50Gigs. Anyone remember when the 64 came out and that shit was anywhere form $60-$80?

I'm OK with this as now I'm tempted to buy one system instead of two. But it's going to be some low power shit.
I know. Just saying that now I don't need two Nintendo systems in a gen
They will find ways to upgrade the system every other year.
