Jays have a big series against the Yanks and I'm super worried. It should be a fireworks display, at the very least.
The Jays are 4-2 against the Yanks this season.
The circumstances don't matter as long as the Cubs win the World Series. Here's hoping they surge out a string of wins to bump them over Pittsburgh so they can claim the division and let Pittsburgh play SF or DC or someone.

A little insight on the Tigers firing their GM. This supports what Yoshi was hinting at.

If I were 86 and spending hundreds of millions on my hobby, I'd be impatient too.
I really can't argue with that.
It's stupid though. He can't play the game himself...they almost won
Granted, baseball has no cap...but it is also random as hell
That was a hell of a win for the Mets last night. Seven in a row! Nats also lost too so that sure helps. That piece of shit Cuddyer is going to return from the DL on Monday so hopefully Mike Conforto can rake the next two nights.
Did you see how the Gnats lost? Their former closer gave up a grand slam while up 4-1 in the eighth. It was awesome.
Fuck Cuddyer. Conforto had another huge hit last night.
My nephews are in town and we've been playing a lot of baseball. The oldest (7) graduated to real baseballs and can sling it. So much fun. Going to a Baysox game tomorrow and catching the O's game Friday against the A's.

That's awesome. I'm jealous as hell. The closest I've come to that is co-ed, slow pitch softball in my company's intramural league, and even that was a few years back. My team did disband as champions though, so I'm a lot like John Elway.![]()
