I remember playing some blue screen games similar to the final round of Nick Arcade. Not as much fun as it looked like it would be on TV.

I used to watch NA nearly everyday after school. I forgot about it until this thread. Someone link Video Power. I don't remember that either.

My childhood videogame show was Starcade on WTBS. Screw winning game console stuff; you could win an arcade game on this game show.

Was Video Power that Acclaim sponsored show with the cheesy cartoon with Kuros and Kwirk in it?

Yeah, the first season was a game review/preview/tips show with Johnny Arcade. The second was a gameshow.
