I didn't know it was possible to hate someone you don't know and can't name, but here I find myself hating whatever asshole greenlit this before a real AC.

I'm not sure it warrants a lot of vitriol, it's a thing people will go for.
People went for the Deal or No Deal video games too.
Has no bearing on whether they should exist or not.
It's a video game that, from what I can tell, requires nothing from the player. The game rolls the dice and moves the character and tells you what your square will do to your score. It's the Wii Music of board games.

The reveal did an amazing job of completely eviscerating the initial spark of interest and excitement from when the trailer first started.
