That's what happens when a team waits too long to get his contract done, and he misses all of training camp. He hasn't been right all season.

Cassel hasn't exactly helped his receivers with those sloppy passes though. I'd have to say that Belicheat is the greatest coach ever, considering how good he made Cassel look with the Pats.

That's a load of shit. It's 100% on him. It's his job to stay in game shape while he's crying about a franchise tender.

Catching a ball isn't in-game shape. And catching a ball from a ball machine isn't exactly like the real thing either. He needed to be on the practice field.

Dallas should have franchise tagged Murray and gave Dez his contract. They dicked around with Murray and Dez until the final hour instead.

Guys get on the practice field without their teams all the time to stay in shape, which includes catching the damn ball if you're a WR. You don't think he could find a QB to throw him some balls?

They did the right thing with Murray and overpaid Bryant. Neither of those positions are premium ones.

edit: Of course, if the league weren't complete garbage, you could pay guys you drafted and developed anything you wanted.

Does said practice include a safety and corner covering hm?

Dez was tearing it up during training camp last year. He was was taking it to his team mates on the other side of the ball. He was keeping a competitive edge on the field and it showed during gametime. This season was the complete opposite, because he wasn't getting the practice reps that simulated playing on the field. Playing catch with some QB isn't going to replace that valuable practice time.
