Time to lobby for flag football.
A long overdue move, the Miami Dolphins fired Joe Philbin. Defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle should follow him immediately.
The league has clearly jumped the shark. Everyone got bigger and faster until they are literally a danger to each other. I think the decline is on, and the financials will follow suit in the next few years. Goodell will be remembered the commissioner on whose watch the bubble burst.
The Redskins have depth. If they didn't, they wouldn't be 2-2. They're strongest at the WR, DL and RB positions. Linebacker isn't too shabby either. Secondary is iffy and without some improvement from Cousins, they'd be a hell of a lot worse at QB. TE is really the only position where they have zero depth and that's because injuries wiped out all three of their players. I don't think we'll see Reed play for a long time.

Apparently the Seahawks might need Wilson to actually do something. He has a 57.9 QBR through three games, almost dead even with Blake Bortles and well behind Brandon Weeden. Maybe someday they'll get him a Randy Moss or Rob Gronkowski and let him pad his stats by throwing from the one (maybe not that last part) to cover up the fact that he'd be nowhere without his defense.
Graham has been feeling like DeMarco in that vaunted Seahawks offense.
Seriously. At least in Murray's case he was there before most of the line, so he could (poorly) argue he made them look good. Brees was already Hall of Fame bound when Graham was still playing basketball.
