The FM Towns port of Viewpoint looks good, but also seems to command a high price.
Pretty much everything of note on FM Towns commands a high price.

Viewpoint just always seemed so much better at first glance than it actually was to play. Zaxxon is much the same way, great at first blush but just not much fun, and shooting some R-Type into it actually accentuates the slow pace.
The 'Rob Base' soundtrack that I also remember it getting praised for also hurts it. A slower paced shooter needs something tense and oppressive sounding.
To boldly go where lots of men have gone before...
