Thread: Treasure Hunters and Explorers Famicom Club

    What's stopping you? Doo eet!

I did kill an expensive game once. Still stings.

  2. The mention of Rampart in the haul thread reminded me that the NES has more than a few instances of the completely different games getting a release with the same name (mainly Famicom vs NES versions). So far I can think of:

    Star Wars
    Rampart
    Air Wolf
    Ghostbusters 2
    Tetris
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

    Any others?

  3. Super Mario Bros. 2 ehehheheheheeh

  4. THE BEST DECISION

There's a alternate timeline where the Japanese version got released and I left gaming to reproduce civil war battles with lead miniatures.

Castlequest (US version is a localization of Castle Excellent and JP game is unrelated)
F1-Race (both in Japan, one game on FC and the other on FDS)
Fantasy Zone (JP Sunsoft and US Tengen. Not completely different games, but different ports of the same arcade game from different teams)
King of Kings (in this case, completely unrelated games with the same name)
    Maniac Mansion
Ms. Pac-Man (both US, Tengen and Namco)
Tetris 2 (JP Tetris 2 is different and US Tetris 2 is called Tetris Flash in Japan)
