Thread: Mini Games That Were As Good (If Not Better) Than The Real Game They Appeared On.

  1. Pong > Mortal Kombat 3

    I want to nominate Monkey Target from Monkey Ball 1, but it might be too big to qualify as a mini game and Monkey Ball 1 is pretty amazing.

    Not a game per se, but I used to play with the NES Godzilla's sound test mode forever. I'd play random sounds and write a little story in my head connecting each to the next. I bet I'd still have more fun doing that than playing Godzilla.
