Saw an advance screening tonight, it was quite good. John Goodman was fantastic. Definitely worth going to see, just don't read anything on the internet about it as the twists are a good part of the fun.

Checking out of the thread then! Just saw Cloverfield for the first time and thought it was alright.
The connections to Cloverfield are incredibly slim. Honestly this movie is 90% Chamber Piece.
Fortunately it's a really good Chamber Piece due to how incredible Goodman and Winstead are.
