Playing Lucky's Tale really makes me want a VR Mario game, lol.

But yeah, Dolphin VR is really neat. I haven't tried it in a while, does all the head movement/rotation work at 90fps and the game stays at 60?

I think it runs at 60 and ATW boosts it up to 90, but it's sort of hard to tell the difference. If they ever integrate Wiimote emulation via Touch, I'll be a happy man.

I haven't even OPENED my Oculus yet Eventually I am going to try that Pinball FX2. Even though they have crap tables, I bet it looks hot.

Satiated morbid curiosity and looked at a VR porn clip last night. Won't be doing it again, because it was even more ridiculous than porn normally is, but the thing that amused me most was how utterly huge the women were. Like, the tech to do the 180 degree video is good (if you turn around the video is mirrored behind you, at least in the one I checked out) but the scaling is way off. I'm sure there's a market for 8 foot tall giantesses, though.

Yeah, I can't figure out if this is a biproduct of the cameras being too far apart, or if it's just an artifact of shooting with fisheye, but it's hilarious. Being pinned onto some 9-foot tall body with giant women circling about. Really awful. I also saw one that was photogrammetric 3D reconstructions of women, and that one looked good, but they don't move so it's like the movie Cashback or some weird Zack Morris timeout fantasy.

Everyone knows conceptually that VR and porn make a good fit, but nobody has any fucking idea how to do it, really.

If you feel like doing some hacky shit, you can use ye olde pinball simulator Future Pinball in the Rift and Vive. There are decent recreations of good real tables out there. I haven't figured out how to make nudging decent tho.

The guide makes it seem slightly more complicated than it is, stick to the bold and it's not too much of a hassle. Had to turn the visuals down to low but who gives a fuck, it's VR pinball.

Can't rep again, but this has been true for me long before VR!
