Be careful with the knockoffs. Don't use the official firmware on them. Krikzz puts code in the firmware that bricks the chinese knock offs.

I don't plan on updating the firmware with this. It's more to just play some ROMS on my SNES, instead of using ZSNES on the computer.

I have both a toaster NES and an AV Famicom. I have an adapter to play a good chunk of NES games on the FC, but it needs to be mod if I want to play CVIII or Gauntlet on it. I also have that gun that looks like a revolver and snaps when I shoot it. All of the US lightgun games work except for Operation Wolf, probably because Operation Wolf's gun support is poorly programmed.

Just bought a few games on Steam to take advantage of the sale. Season 3 Pro Pack for Pinball Arcade (on sale for only 10 cents more than Season 3 by itself) and some shmups (Raiden IV Overkill, Revolver 360, and Hurricane of Varstray).
