So it looks like the purple meter under the HP bar fuels transformations, you have to build it up to level 2 to use them, and even characters who don't have them use it for what looks like some sort of rage mode. Also: supposedly the guy (from the dev team I guess?) talking to the screeching fangirl hostesses confirmed that Farnesse is NOT playable, because the one wouldn't shut up about her.
