  4. Looking at the videos, I don't like how they kept so many artifacts of the Genesis, like the z80 music and the dithering in place of transparencies. It also feels too familar, like I've played it before. I'm glad they're making this but I would have preferred something with a full color palette.

    It is really the difference of a well crafted watch and the wax wings of Icarus.

    Sonic 2 is objectively a better made game, while Sonic CD tried to do more.

  7. I actually think Sonic CD is a better-made game. The level design in Sonic 2 never did it for me at all. They felt like things to race through, rather than explore, and that's where Sonic CD made for a much better game. You could either fly on through in seconds or take your time and explore, and have a good time doing either.
