    The real trick is if a government that is pro abortion and sends teenagers to die can really be offended by dead babies.

    I'm neither into it nor against it. It is just a thing that happens imo, because ultimately there are always good and bad outcomes. Who is to say which outweighs the other?

    Translating the Bible into English, then later distributing via the printing press had good outcomes too. It was a major blow to organized religion and allowed people to have more direct control over their religious lives. But it also allowed "common" people to read it and come away thinking they can handle snakes via the power of God. There are 217 denominations of the christian religion in the US. 217 groups don't read that book the same way.

    I think the web benefits people that don't need curators. People that will read many sources and dig deep. But it hurts lazy people. They build whatever worldview they find convenient and then go dick off. They find the definition of words that bolster their position and surround themselves with people that agree. Or they read conspiracy theories about the Illuminati Jewish conspiracy and in a weird way it makes them feel safe because they have a handle on the chaos of the world and can surround themselves with like minded people. They've got a handle on things and have the strength of perceived numbers.

    The Declaration of Independence has a bone to pick with you. But that is probably ok. A lot of people don't really give a shit about what those old people thought. They did sleep with slaves, negating everything they ever thought or did.
