I watched that this morning. It's frustrating that the political left is too preoccupied with virtue signalling to actually think about this stuff.
Does Islam need to be reformed? It is a very small % of the total Muslims in the world that agree with terrorism.
There is probably a larger percentage of Christians in the us that are ok with fags and flag burners being beaten to death.
But we don't talk about reforming it. Not even as we are at the cusp of it ending our way of life via ignoring climate change because jesus just wouldn't allow such a thing.
at least we can be thankful for people like Bill Maher who use any opportunity to say "lookit those muslims"

You should reread that as it also kills your point since most also believe sharia should only apply to muslims.
Asking a Muslim if they believe in sharia is like asking a Christian if they believe in the Ten Commandments.
Also they didn't include India in that survey which is 20% of the worlds muslim population, a fairly significant portion to be missing.

I know quite a few muslims who would not be cool with that.
The problem is that many Americans wag a holier-than-thou finger at Muslims for that "barbaric law" while saying NOTHING while their government schmoozes with many countries that support said law. And don't even get me started on the same anti-Sharia shitheads who want Creationism taught in schools and same sex marriage and abortion outlawed specifically because it goes against their holy book.

Yeah, hypocrisy certainly doesn't help, and American foreign policy has plenty of that.
I have no patience for any type of religious fanaticism, whether it's crazy Christian sects, religious Zionists, Scientologists, or whatever. None of it belongs in a modern educated society, not that we actually live in one of those. One can dream, though.
