Thread: The Trump Presidency

  1. This sucks. It's important but it's boring and annoying to hear Dems harp on stuff and Fascs stretch to lay traps. What's cool is you can tell the pedophiles Trump has dirt on by their intense anger, since they go down if he does. Jim Jordan, Gohmert stand out so far.

EDIT: To be fair: That Buck guy was on a good line of questioning before he got cut off, actually. So not all the Fascs are stretching to lay traps.

  2. the republican cop is definitely gonna save us all this time.

  3. Ah, Steube is a pedo too.

  4. Yeah, these Repubs are so fucking angry that anyone would ever even insinuate that their precious widdle Trumpy-baby had ever been guilty of any wrongdoing whatsoever. It's like a passion that one would save for a horribly wronged lover or parent.

  5. I can't believe the negative reception and disappointment Dems are expressing at this thing.

It was never going to be about Mueller showing up and shouting "lock him up!"

The one purpose that needed to be served was to get Mueller to give clear Y/N soundbites that clarified the findings and concisely refuted Trump's spin of the report. "Does this report completely exonerate the president, is the conclusion that there was no evidence of collusion whatsoever, did you not indict the President because you simply were bound by the rules not to do that, etc?"

They asked all of those questions and got the most damning, black and white answers they could have wished for.

  6. That last one was later clarified.

"For example, take this exchange with Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA). Lieu asked Mueller if “the reason” he “did not indict Donald Trump is because of OLC [Office of Legal Counsel] opinion stating that you cannot indict a sitting president, correct?” Mueller replied, “That is correct.”

This was read by several observers as evidence that Mueller in fact believed Trump committed obstruction, and did not prosecute only because of the OLC guidance. Such an admission would have been a bombshell, contradicting both the report and Mueller’s previous statements, and accordingly, Democratic-leaning social media went wild.

But that’s not what Mueller meant. He was later forced to clarify his answer, explaining that he did not decide, one way or the other, whether Trump committed obstruction."

  7. The only winning side I see from this charade is Russia.

  8. Their display has been fairly low-key for a while, but the house next door to my neighborhood post office kicked it into high-gear once again a few days ago. The free-standing "TRUMP" letters of old have been replaced with "GOD." Not sure which is worse.

Some things are partially cut-off/hard to see:

    1. Huge BUILD THE WALL sign (spray-painted letters on a brick-pattern) on the far right
    2. Free-standing USA letters on the far left
    3. LOCK HER UP (of course) written on the front door

  9. Might want to rethink the “Communism is not welcome in America, Vote Red!” message.

Sounds like something a Communist would say.
